yeah i've known about crysis for awhile now. it looks great, and after playing far cry, i'm up to trying it. another good game to keep an eye out for is Half-Life 2 : Episode 2 and Quake Wars : Enemy Territories. Quake Wars is like bf2/bf2142 but for quake, and has some very crazy-cool gameplay elements.
If you have a computer to run it than yea its better but ur going to have to have one sick ass comp to run it. You can still run it on dx9 but it is as good. Ive been researching this game for a awhile and it looks amazing. But it is totally different from 2142 and it is more like single player game like rapaz said.
Crysis looks cool with the whole fully desctructable enviornment thing but i have been following it since E3
If you ever played Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory and loved it (like me for almost 4 yrs) you will completely love Enemy Territory: Quake Wars. It is made by the same people and designed to have the same awesome teamwork reliant gameplay.
Never played the Half-Life series but i read that when you buy episode 2 you get episode 1 included so im waiting out till then to try the HL series out. apparently there are some pretty crazy mods for HL like gary's mod and many others.
I think Half-Life 2 is the best game for pc. to it's involving (and continuing, episode 1/2/3) storyline, graphics, physics, and it's multiplayer. With it's other great games like Counter-Strike : Source and Day of Defeat : Source, it uses it's game engine to great extremes and fun. I can't wait for Team Fortress 2 (http://www.gametrailers.com/gamepage.php?id=3034) to come out and with it's bundled game Portal (http://www.gametrailers.com/gamepage.php?id=3286). TF2 looks alot like the movie The Incredibles and Portal just looks ****in' crazy fun.

hell yeah, that Team Fortress 2 looks awesome. SniperX showed me that gameplay trailer over a year ago. I forgot about that one. Wonder when it's coming out?
