Ping Problems

Well this is getting old, every server I go on my ping is up in the 150 range and I cant figure out how I can get it to come down. Im opened to suggestions if anyone has one.

not sure if theres a port you can open or not, something to look into though.

I went ahead and uninstalled it and reinstaled it and my ping went down to some what normal. I go though a router so that might be part of the problem, need to figure out how to open a port on it for the game. If anyone know how to do that please help me out.
