Just announced, Call of Duty 6 will be known as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and will arrive in 2009.

Activision Blizzard made this announcement along with others as part of their "Massive Inc. upfront". An upfront is an event where publishers show off their upcoming titles to advertisers and the media.

Details about Modern Warfare 2 are not yet known, but expect more news in the upcoming weeks and months. It is anticipated that Modern Warfare 2 will be handled by Infinity Ward.

As far CoD5, it is a good game + the extra bonus, it's a WWII game (love it). Until they get from us another $50, I will enjoy this one.

I agree that CoD5 is not good for competition, but it can be fun. And also Cod6 will be futuristic....I'm not a big fan of futuristic games so who knows if i'll buy that one...

blunt your just to stubborn man... you go into the mind set that cod5 sucks blah blah and then you say you tried in. So you go try the game in that mindset and play it for like 5 minutes.... nice try... I play it on xbox 360 and i think its pretty damn fun. but i guess you can't alter the stubborn minds ... boo.gif
