ROTC..ya or neh?

hey i just got back from seeing mr searby, my mentor. He suggested that when i move out to Colorado that I should do ROTC for the National Guard. It seems like a good idea and it makes since it provides money, a small taste of the military, discipline, and its nothing i have to commit to for a long ass time. Also i can change my post if i were to move. Im nervous but i think im gunna go for it then maybe along the way ill find what i wanna do http://www.sparkimg.com/emoticons/evileye.gif

National guard would be cool. My friend just signed up for it and he's in his thirties. From what he told me, it's only a weekend per month commitment. You'll get benefits and a retirement plan, plus some extra dough..... doesn't sound like a bad idea Narc, go for it headbang.gif

That's what my youngest brother is in. He's done a tour in Iraq, went to Louisana to help with the Hurricane clean, trained in Japan, and other things. He gets help with college pay. It has seemed to help him. He knows what he wants and is going for it.

It's one weekend a year, and I believe one week or two weeks a year. Make sure its something your really going to be committed to. You don't have a choice if they tell you your going to Iraq or where ever. So think about it...

Love ya like a son,
Javin

One weekend a month, and two weeks during the summer. This is a major bump, which I am sorry for
