How to make a CoD2 movie

I saw this in the cal forums, and thought some of you could do this and make an nForce video of some sort.
This is step by step tutorial, so even a monkey could figure it out!
This will also decrease size of file so it isnt such a big download when its finished.

Programs Needed
Sony Vegas

OR

VvirtualDub (VDub) FREEWARE- HERE
Xvid Codec - HERE
Infranview - HERE
Video Lan Player - HERE

1. Make a proper cod2 config by applying the follow settings in video settings as shown in the image
DX9, 800x600, All the settings MAXED OUT and etc.

2. Drop the console down from "~" key and type the following commands before you start
/sv_pure 0
/cg_drawfps 0
/cg_draw
/cg_drawLagometer 0
/hud_enable 0

if you are not too sure, then download my config that i have already made for recording movies, but you will still need to apply '/sv_pure 0' before you can start

Config Download

3. Afterwards, type '/devmap mp_carentan' or any map you perfer

4. Once the devmap has been loaded, disconnect from the server *don't close cod2, just disconnect from server*

5. Load the demo you want to record by using '/demo name' - what ever you have named your own demo

if you are not sure about the demo name, you can probably find it in "C:\Program Files\Activision\main\demos"

6. As you are watching your demo, you can change the timescale speed by using "/timescale 0.5" or "/timescale 20"

7. Once you have found the part of the demo you want to record, use the follow command in console to start recording
"/cl_avidemo 30" - default recording rate
values under 30 = Fast motion
values over 30 = Slow motion

**if you want to record your demo in third personview, use "/cg_thirdperson 1" command**
once you have finished reocording, type "/cl_avidemo 0" to stop

8. Open up Infranview and browse the COD2 Screenshot folder, where all of the recorded avi screenshots went, and delete the ones you don't need or the ones showing console bar

9. Next, open up sony vegas and follow this following tutorial, it will tell you how to import the screenshots in vegas, and save it as .avi in a good quality using xvid codec

http://www.callofduty.se/slize/quality.php
^ this will tell you how to finish the movie

feel free to try different methods ;o

or use vdub and google for tutorials, theres ton of stuff

enjoy, and I want to see some nForce videos!
